- What is Stoog?
- Stoog builds offline-first companion apps for music festivals. Visitors preview every act, star their favourites and use their personal schedule on the festival grounds without an internet connection.
- Does the festival app really work without internet?
- Yes. Visitors install the app once at home over wifi, and the full line-up and their starred schedule stay available offline all weekend, even when there is no 4G or 5G on the grounds.
- Does Stoog drain my battery?
- No. Stoog is a lightweight progressive web app with no background processes, no push notifications running in the background, and no video autoplay. Once installed, it uses almost no battery - unlike native apps that keep syncing and refreshing in the background. At most festivals there is decent mobile coverage, but your battery is always a limited resource.
- How much does Stoog cost for visitors?
- Nothing. There is no app store download, no account and no paywall. Visitors scan a QR code or tap a link and the app is ready.
- How long does it take to set up a festival app?
- Days. You send your timetable as a PDF, image or spreadsheet, and we build, brand and test your app before sharing it on yourfestival.stoog.live.
- Which festivals already use Stoog?
- Sjock 2026 in Gierle (11-13 July), Brakrock 2026 in Duffel (7-8 August) and Antilliaanse Feesten 2026 in Hoogstraten (6-8 August) all have fan-built Stoog apps. The Sjock app reached over 5,000 visitors and was used throughout the weekend without mobile internet.
